Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, and Suresh Raina—three former Indian cricket players—took to social media to hilariously attempt to recreate actor Vicky Kaushal’s famous dance move from the song “Tauba Tauba.” This humorous performance follows their amazing showing at the World Championship of Legends 2024 (WCL 2024), when all three of them were crucial to India Champions’ victory over Pakistan Champions in the Edgbaston final.
The WCL trophy was won by the India Champions, captained by Yuvraj Singh, who defeated the Pakistan Champions by five wickets. Pakistan scored a challenging 156/6 in their 20 overs when batting first. Pakistan’s batters were successfully restrained by the Indian bowling attack, which was led by Anureet Singh and backed by Vinay Kumar and Irfan Pathan.
In response, India took 19.1 overs to reach the goal, and Ambati Rayudu won Player of the Match for his brilliant fifty off just thirty balls. Yusuf Pathan won Player of the Tournament thanks to his quick 30 off 16 balls and steady play throughout the competition.
After finishing their cricket matches, Yuvraj, Harbhajan, and Raina made the decision to adopt the newest social media craze. Vicky Kaushal’s amazing dance movements have caused the song “Tauba Tauba” from the forthcoming movie Bad Newz to become viral online. The ex-cricketers were not an exception to the social media deluge of fans trying to copy the popular hook step.
In an amusing video posted to their social media accounts, Raina, Harbhajan, and Yuvraj can be seen hobbling to the tunes of “Tauba Tauba.” In a lighthearted allusion to the physical toll incurred by the grueling matches in the WCL 2024, each of them enters a room one by one while imitating the limp.
“Legends cricket, body ki Tauba Tauba ho Gayi in 15 days. The body hurts in every area. Our rendition of the Tauba Tauba dance is a direct rivalry to our brothers, @vickykaushal09 @karanaujla. What a SONG,” Harbhajan and Yuvraj and Raina cooperated on a post.
In addition to teams from India and Pakistan, the initial editions of the WCL featured teams from Australia, the West Indies, South Africa, and the tournament’s host England. The famous Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham hosted all of the games.
