Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli left the internet fuming as the star India batters once again failed to score big on Day 5 of the fourth Test encounter against Australia in Melbourne.

On Day 5 of Monday’s fourth Test match against Australia in Melbourne, the prominent Indian batsmen, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, once again failed to score a significant amount of runs, leaving the internet in a rage. The seasoned bats have struggled since they haven’t been scoring many runs recently. In the second innings of the fourth Test, fielders caught Virat in the slips for five runs, and Pat Cummins removed Rohit for nine, adding to the suffering. Virat chased a wide delivery from Mitchell Starc before the slip fielders caught him, while Mitchell Marsh made a quick catch at gully to dismiss Rohit.

The Indian batsmen that were out were Virat Kohli (5), K L Rahul (0), and Rohit Sharma (9). At the stroke of lunch, Mitchell Starc caught Kohli at first slip.
On the last day, Australia were bowled out for 234 after starting the match at 228 for nine.
With a five-wicket haul, India’s top bowler Jasprit Bumrah (5/57) led the show as predicted, with good support from Mohammed Siraj (3/70) and Ravindra Jadeja (1/33).
Nathan Lyon (41 off 55) and Scott Boland (15 not out off 74), Australia’s number 10 and 11, both contributed six runs during the morning session before Bumrah dismissed the former.
