Indian cricket team fast bowler Deepak Chahar believes that his former franchise Chennai Super Kings will be bidding for him in the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Fast bowler Deepak Chahar of the Indian cricket team thinks that the Chennai Super Kings, his previous side, would bid for him in the IPL 2025 super auction. Chahar has played for CSK for a long time, and even though they didn’t retain him for the 2022 campaign, the team still spent Rs 14 crore to acquire him at auction. Chahar recently stated that he would like to rejoin the club and that his ability to take wickets in the powerplay overs may be a great advantage in the current game.
Even though Chahar has missed a lot of cricket because of injuries, he thinks that his prior performance would be important in convincing CSK to make another bid for him.
“They also didn’t keep me in the previous big auction. However, they bought me back and went above and above for me. I’m not sure what will happen this year, but I am certain that teams will value my talent more now that they are scoring over 200 runs more regularly due to the Powerplay scoring 90–100 runs. In that stage of the game, I’ve shown how useful I am in limiting runs,” Chahar told the Times of India.
CSK retained Ravindra Jadeja and captain Ruturaj Gaikwad. Shivam Dube, Matheesha Pathirana, and MS Dhoni before to the auction. CSK no longer possesses a Right To Match (RTM) card. Chahar stated that he would like the Rajasthan Royals to bid for him at auction if he does not play for CSK again in his career.
“I believe they’ll make another bid for me. If I can’t wear the yellow jersey once again, I’d like the Rajasthan Royals to bid for me,” he continued.
