A PCB press statement states that Bosch, who is currently 30 years old, has received a legal notice from the board accusing him of breaching his contractual duties to the PCB.
Peshawar Zalmi selected Bosch in the Diamond category (the second most costly after Platinum) at the PSL 2025 draft on January 13. But on March 8, Bosch took Lizaad Williams’ spot as the Mumbai Indians’ injured player. Bosch was forced to forgo his PSL contract since the IPL 2025 (March 22–May 25) would overlap PSL 2025 (April 11–May 10) on either side.

Through his agent, the PCB then sent Bosch a legal letter requesting that he “explain his actions of withdrawing from his professional and contractual commitments.” Additionally, they “described the consequences of his exit from the league.”
The announcement ended with the statement, “The PCB will not make any further comments on the matter.”
Bosch has taken 59 wickets at an average of 8.38 per over in 86 Twenty20 matches. He has amassed 663 runs with a strike rate of 113 while batting. He has 321 runs at 116, nine wickets, and an economy rate of 10.21 for the Barbados Royals and the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in the CPL, his first significant foreign franchise competition.
Bosch, who was a member of the South African team that won the 2014 Under-19 World Cup, has not yet participated in T20Is. However, from December 2024 to February 2025, he played just one Test and two ODIs for his country, both against Pakistan.
With five wickets, including one with the first delivery of his career, and 81 not out, he made an outstanding Test debut. In the two ODIs, he has amassed two wickets and 55 unbroken runs.
