Following a great run of matches, the city of New York will say farewell to the T20 World Cup 2024 with the dismantling of Nassau County Stadium, which played home to eight matches of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
During this tournament, the United States of America took center stage for the first time in cricket history as they co-hosted an ICC event with the West Indies. Nassau County Stadium was the site of drama after thriller.

But after the World Cup, the stadium in Eisenhower Park— which was constructed in record speed to serve as a makeshift field with drop-in pitches from Adelaide—will say goodbye to the game.
Major League Cricket (MLC) was originally intended to hold part of the season 2 games at the arena, with MI New York being the city’s home club. However, the concept was not given much thought due to the apathy of MLC administrators and the franchise.
Even so, the city of New York will have a world-class cricket facility, albeit it is extremely unlikely to be this stadium. According to reports, the Ambanis, the owners of the MI clubs, intend to construct a new stadium in the city with top-notch amenities.
