With every match, Group D is becoming more and more intriguing, and a victory for South Africa in this match will guarantee their spot in the Super 8. With Marco Jansen batting at number seven and filling in as an all-rounder, South Africa’s batting depth is a little bit of a problem. Reeza Hendricks has also shown uneasy in the two games played so far. Ryan Rickelton is another possibility; he might start opposite Quinton de Kock.
Given the experience of the other middle-order hitters and David Miller’s resilient batting against the Netherlands, South Africa should have no trouble winning again.
