In his IPL encounter against Gujarat Titans in Lucknow on Sunday, pace wonder Mayank Yadav departed the field due to a side injury after bowling just one over for the Lucknow Super Giants. The 21-year-old was sent in to bowl in the fourth over of the Titans’ 164-run chase, but he was only able to get above 140 kmph twice before leaving the field with the LSG physio.

NEW DELHI: Pace prodigy Mayank Yadav sustained a side injury during Sunday’s IPL encounter between the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow SPIER Giants. For the Lucknow Super Giants, the 21-year-old had to leave the field after bowling just one over.
In the fourth over of the Titans’ 164-run chase, he came in to bowl, but he was only able to get above 140 kmph twice in the over before the LSG physio attended to him and he left the field.
