With Rohit Sharma returning as skipper for another 50-over ICC competition, the BCCI revealed India’s 15-man team for the next Champions Trophy in Dubai. After an eight-year break, the Champions Trophy will return to the international schedule with a hybrid format, with India playing their matches in Dubai and the remainder matches taking place in three locations in Pakistan.
In the eight-team competition, India will play their first match against Bangladesh on February 20. They will then play group matches against Pakistan and New Zealand.

In the 2017 final of the previous season, India and Pakistan faced off at the Oval, where their bitter rivals soundly defeated the Men in Blue. In 2013, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, India had already won the trophy. Following a postponed final in 2002, officials declared them joint-owners of the championship with Sri Lanka.
