Jamal Musiala’s header in the 85th minute saved a 1-1 draw for Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich at the home of rivals Borussia Dortmund on Saturday, despite Harry Kane limping off. Shortly after fellow countryman Jamie Gittens had given Dortmund the lead, England captain Kane pulled up with a left thigh problem after 33 minutes.

“Kane claims it’s not a big deal. With scans scheduled for the 31-year-old, Kompany remarked, “Let’s hope so.”
Dortmund moved into fifth position, 10 points behind the leaders, after surpassing Freiburg, who defeated Borussia Moenchengladbach 3-1 on Saturday.
The clubs with the greatest home and away records in the Bundesliga faced off in this Klassiker, which was always sure to be an exciting match.
Bayern had the advantage at the beginning of the match, but Dortmund steadied the ship and grabbed the lead in the 27th minute thanks to a fantastic individual goal by Gittens.
Nico Schlotterbeck, the captain of Dortmund, saw Gittens’ run and his stepover, which left Konrad Laimer in his wake. He finished deftly past Manuel Neuer, avoiding Laimer down the left wing with his blistering pace.
The Englishman’s brilliant moment was a return favor to coach Nuri Sahin, who has trusted the 20-year-old enough to give him 14 starts so far this season.
The loss of Kane five minutes later added to Bayern’s troubles, but shortly after the hour, Neuer kept the Bavarians in the match by blocking a shot from Marcel Sabitzer with his right leg.
Before Musiala, Bayern’s best player of the evening, grabbed a point, the team dominated the second half but was unable to turn their ball advantage into goals.
Musiala nodded in Michael Olise’s precise cross after Leroy Sane’s free kick smacked the Dortmund wall.
Thomas Mueller, Kane’s bench substitute, remarked, “We’re happy to have come back, I think we deserved it,”
