It is well known that Gautam Gambhir and Manoj Tiwary have a tense relationship. Tiwary has attacked the head coach of the Indian cricket team on several occasions recently, and in a recent interview, he accused him once more of employing “abuse and threat.” Tiwary remembered a disagreement that nearly turned into a violent altercation during their time as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He remembered that Wasim Akram, who was the bowling coach at the time, broke up their furious argument.

The press gives him space when a new player arises, which could be one of the reasons he became upset with me. “I could have been the captain of India today if we had a PR team,” Tiwary said to Lallantop.
We once got into a furious dispute at Eden Gardens over where I should bat. I went to the bathroom because I was really upset. This attitude isn’t going to work, he declared abruptly. Tujhe kabhi khilaunga nahi (I refuse to play a game with you). That and this. I questioned him about why he was speaking in such a manner. He was threatening me. Wasim Akram entered as well. He calmed things down since he was our bowling instructor; otherwise, there might have been a physical altercation as well, he continued.
Tiwary claimed that Gambhir was mistreating him on the field during their memorable altercation during a 2015 Ranji Trophy match.
“I was standing watch at the crease during a Ranji Trophy match. Gambhir was mistreating slips. Such terms should not be used. Gaali maa-behen ki. “Shaam ko mil, main tujhe maarta hu,” he then said. I’m going to beat you up if you don’t meet me in the evening. “Shaam ko kiu abhi maarlo,” I asked, “why evening? Now let’s battle. During the interview, Manoj Tiwary stated, “I was strong too.”
“Gambhir pushed him away as well when the umpire moved in between them. I was at the non-striker’s end when the over ended. He abruptly stopped and began mistreating me once more. Umpires are powerless. He is a major player, and they fear that he will turn his power against them,” he said in closing.
