In their AFC Challenge League encounter on Tuesday, Indian team East Bengal crushed Bangladesh’s Bashundhara Kings 4-0 with an absolutely dominating performance. East Bengal doubled their advantage in the 20th minute thanks to a spectacular screamer from midfielder Souvik Chakrabarti, who struck from outside the box to the upper right corner.

At Changlimithang Stadium, Nandhakumar Sekar’s right-footed effort from the left side of the box gave East Bengal a 3-0 lead following a Madih Talal assist.
Bashundhara Kings were in for more suffering as goalkeeper Anwar Ali scored a fantastic goal this time around as his left-footed attempt from beyond the box curled in.
Once more, the Bangladeshi team failed to clear the ball into safety, demonstrating terrible defending.
East Bengal led 4-0 at halftime after exhausting their opponents, and the second half of their second group stage match started with no lull in energy.
Although they had their share of opportunities, the Bashundhara Kings were unable to convert them.
The Red and Gold Brigade and host team Paro FC drew 2-2 to start the season.
However, Bashundhara Kings entered the game following a 0-1 defeat to the current table-toppers, Nejmeh SC, from Lebanon.
