Cameron Green is expected to make his Test comeback after Cricket Australia confirmed on Tuesday (May 13) that he will be included in Australia’s 15-man team for the World Test Championship final at Lord’s next month and the next Caribbean tour. Returning from a back ailment, Green last participated in a Test match in March 2024.
Pat Cummins, the captain, and Josh Hazlewood, a fast who missed the Champions Trophy because of injury but later returned to competition in the IPL 2025, are also joining the Test team. However, Hazlewood missed the last game for his team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, due to a shoulder ailment, and he was also unlikely to start the next game before the league was temporarily stopped.

However, despite the fact that Todd Murphy is unlikely to be included in the starting lineup until the three-Test West Indies trip, which begins on June 25, Matthew Kuhnemann has been selected ahead of him.
