Arsenal will host Manchester United in the FA Cup third round next month in a meeting of the competition’s two most successful clubs.

Next month, the two most successful teams in the FA Cup will face off when Arsenal hosts Manchester United in the third round. Arsenal took home the final of their record 14 titles in 2020, whereas United holds the trophy after winning it for the thirteenth time previous season. The match is scheduled to take place at Emirates Stadium on the weekend of January 11–12. Salford, owned by United’s ‘Class of 92’ consisting of David Beckham, the Neville brothers, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, and Nicky Butt, is in fourth place and will be hosted by Manchester City, the 2023 champions and May runners-up.
Liverpool also hosts Accrington Stanley, a League Two rival.
Newcastle takes on Bromley, another struggling team in League Two, while Chelsea takes on Morecambe, the worst team in the fourth league.
Tamworth, one of just two non-league teams still in the tournament, drew Tottenham away. Redbridge and Dagenham, two other National League teams, are traveling to Millwall, a team in the second division.
Twenty lower-league and non-league teams that triumphed in the previous round are joined by 44 clubs from the Premier League and Championship in the third round of the competition.
