India defeated England by 150 runs in the fifth and final Twenty20 International at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai thanks to an all-around effort by Abhishek Sharma. It was a memorable evening. In only twenty overs, the left-handed whiz scored 135 runs off of just 54 balls, helping India reach 247/9. Then, to conclude the day, he came back with two more wickets.
Abhishek Sharma believes that his instructor, Yuvraj Singh, would be pleased with this knock. The left-handed hitter disclosed at the post-match presentation that the former India batsman always requests that he bat for at least 15 overs.

Abhishek Sharma surpassed Sanju Samson to get India’s second-fastest T20I century. Additionally, he eclipsed Shubman Gill’s 126 not out against New Zealand to shatter the greatest T20I score for any Indian hitter.
There were seven fours and thirteen sixes in the left-hander’s knock. In a single T20I innings, he also smashed the most sixes of any Indian batsman.
“Probably he should be, I think, after this, but he always wanted me to, you know, bat till 15, 20 overs,” Abhishek said when asked if Yuvraj Singh would be happy with his performance in the Mumbai T20I match against England. And since I was a member of this squad as well, Gauti Bhai shared my desire. I believe that today was my day, and I did a good job of putting that into practice.
“The coach and captain always desired this intent.”
Additionally, Abhishek Sharma disclosed that skipper Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir have always favored him playing his natural style and expressing himself in the center.
